Production Workflow

Please e-mail me to place your name on a waiting list for any of my workshops. As soon as we have enough students, we will call and schedule a class. If time is an issue, we offer one-on-one personalized training for $350 per day in our studio. Or call to discuss on-location training.

It is suggested that you have a basic knowledge of Photoshop prior to taking this class. You must also have a working knowledge of your computer's operating system! In other words, how to open, save, close files, and other basic commands.

Learn the "behind the scenes" processes that a "digital" studio needs to know. Calibrate your monitor using the ColorVision Spyder2Pro. Use color spaces and printer profiles to ensure that what you see is what is printed. Allocate your PC's memory to be more "Photoshop Efficient". Bring your camera and learn to use histograms and manual white balance to ensure proper exposure and color.

Batch process multiple RAW files using Adobe Bridge and Adobe Camera RAW. Convert RAW files to JPG files for streamlined file management. Integrate photos from multi-camera shoots into a sorted, easy to use file system. Learn how our studio sorts, mangages, and archives camera files.

Use ACDSee for customer presentation and to create instant proof books.
